Yep, I know, it's been 3 weeks since I updated what's going on around the farm. Lots of stress and disappointment. It seems like the harder I work to reach my goal, the more disasters happen around me.
Next is the guy that was supposed to be doing the water lines for the new kitchen project. Apparently, my job isn't as important to him as it is to me and he keeps putting me off to do bigger jobs. Guess I need to find someone else to help me.
The last 3 weeks of market have been rough. The crowd is gone. The die-hard customers are still there but the good sales averages aren't. This past week was especially dismal. After our regular customers, the market was dead. Now I'm worried about being able to sustain until the kitchen is done and approved. I can't advertise or sell off the farm without it. I tell everyone who will listen about the milk and cheese but I can't seem to get any sales out of it. Probably a good thing because I can hardly keep up the farm appearance while scrambling to pick up cash anywhere I can. Hard to make a good impression with a half wore out push mower and weeds knee high. Guess I was expecting to be doing better by now.
So, I'm back to using the library computers. It's not any better than it was a few years ago, LOL Anybody want to buy a short legged Dexter bull?
